Bacon and Butter - Sacramento

Was in an unfamiliar area and this place caught my eye as a good place to try for brunch. It was late morning on a Sunday, so I knew there may be a wait. But wasnt expecting to hear a 90 min wait. We decided to order some mimosas while we waited. Justordering those was a bit of an ordeal. There seemed to be quite a bit of confusion behind the counter between people picking upto-go orders and people wanting to place orders. That part wasn't great, but not horrible either. We got thru half our carafeof mimosas when our name was called, which ended up being a tad less than an hour. That was a relief, as we were hungry. Ourserver, Kristine, quickly attended to us soon after sitting and it wasn't long after that we had some glasses of water too. Shedid a fantastic job attending to us throughout our meal. Now the food. I ordered a Waffle with eggs (over easy) and sausage.Everything was cooked well. The Waffle was just ok though. Didn't taste much different than an Eggo Waffle. Which isn'thorrible, but I expect a little more when eating out. It was topped with fruit which was a nice touch. My date ordered a baconmelt with Country potatoes, and that was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, they were cut into very large pieces. Butthat's a personal choice. In regards to price, I'd say it was fairly reasonable. So why only 3 stars? Considering the wait, thefood wasn't worth that wait. It was decent, but not good enough for that kind of wait. I've had much better brunches elsewhere.

This place was amazing!!!! 10/10 recommend. The wait was like 20 minutes but it was well worth it because our food came out in 15 minutes! And it was so goooood???? I would absolutely come back

The service here is exceptional, and the food is delicious, no matter what you order! It's a fantastic spot for brunch with friends and family. Definitely worth the wait, but I would recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid long lines. My only wish is that they had an espresso machine for lattes!

Don't visit this place on your cheat day! Unless they have an amazing menu. I found a great café that I wanted to go back to, but unfortunately, I was on a meal plan at the time and had to cut back on my calorie intake. I went anyway because my wife insisted! She ordered the grilled cheese Benedict, and it looked delicious. She enjoyed it so much that she ate it twice—once at the restaurant and again back at our (temporary) home, which was really an Airbnb that we don’t own. I got to see her relish it twice! I opted for the California burrito since we were in Sacramento. I’m not sure how it ended up in my face and mouth, but it would have been rude to waste food, so I ate it all! I also took photos to prove we were there, but I forgot to be in any of them. However, if you look closely, you can spot my shadow!

The wait time was surprisingly quick for a busy Saturday. Our food came out super fast as well. They had a great selection of ciders and mimosas. The meal itself was excellent, with some generously sized portions.
