Doubletree By Hilton - S San Diego

Place is a dump. Elevators were messed up a year ago, and this time one was out of service. The repair guy rolled his eyes when I asked if they would be fixed this time, as if to say “nope, this cheap hotel wont just replace it”. Don’t stay here unless you like standing around waiting for the dang elevator all the time.

There were a few bumps with this experience. Hotel had only one elevator and understaffed. Despite that we still got our warm cookies and the jr suite is perfect fit for our family of 4. We were going to the zoo and legoland and this hotel was in between both.

All of the one star reviews make me scared. I don’t know if I’d like this place UPDATE I went to this place for my mom’s work. After we got our room, IT LOOKED SO COMFORTABLE the beds were bouncy, and cozy no cockroaches, and no broken stuff. IT WAS AWESOME

The location is near the freeway so in the night its very noisy. The room was smelly and outdated as they use the carpet and it looks like it wasnt cleaned for ages.. not recommended

When I stayed at this hotel, I immediately felt the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They not only provided excellent service but also went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met, making me feel truly welcome.
