Bidrage med feedback10,000 out of 10 stars. This place is universal in Japan, but has taken 10+ years to finally start expanding out in the US. This branch is the very first franchise owned not corporate owned in the US. You cant fail with the chicken cutlet curry, but most everything is good or great.
If I was just rating based off of dining in it would be 5 star but due to take-out being incorrect 3 out of 3 times; it needs to be a 4 maybe a 3. When dining in the restaurant is clean and the staff are nice! Calling ahead is your best bet to get a table if you are in a group. The restaurant can have 45 minutes waits otherwise, especially on weekends. So far I have tried 50 plus percent of the menu while dining in and it always comes out great. Parking is very tight inthe parking lot and it can take some time to get in or out of the area. Just for some reason to-go order don't work as well. I hope this fix the issue before it becomes commonplace.
Haven't had Japanese curry in a while and my friend suggested this place in Convoy. I like the call button available if we needed the waiter. Got an omelet combo and didn't think I would finish but I did since it was delicious. I chose a level 2 spice level but definitely could have chosen spicer. They do have a lot of more levels of spice to select from.
The Keema curry is absolutely AMAZING! You should definitely give it a try at least once, and don’t forget to add the pickled onions. I find that level 3 or 4 spice is just perfect for me—it offers a subtle kick without being overwhelming. I’d recommend steering clear of level 5 unless you really love your spice!
The Chicken Cutlet with vegetables was fresh and delicious, and it was well-packaged for delivery. The spice level of 6 was just right. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The only drawback was the price; $22 for a plate of curry is quite steep for lunch.
