This place is awesome. Best sandwiches I’ve ever had (the bond auto is killer), the staff is super nice, prices are very reasonable, you absolutely cannot go wrong here. If you’re in Rutland stop by for lunch, you won’t regret it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I absolutely adore this place! I ordered the meatball sandwich, and it was incredible—delicious sauce and fresh homemade bread. The highlight for me was the warm hospitality from Martha, Terry, and Dave. They welcomed us with open arms when we arrived and engaged in delightful conversation! I had a great experience at this restaurant! The sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced. It has that authentic family-run feel that you might see in an old-school TV show. The owners were incredibly welcoming and shared that many of their specialty sandwiches were created or named by regular customers. They were also very flexible when it came to adjusting menu items and accommodating kids’ orders. I would highly recommend this place! Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

The sandwich shoppe is the best spot for lunch in Rutland. Our group had all been swayed to go for meatball subs (homemade meatballs and sauce and rolls! and we were not disappointed. Amazing! Love that this is a Family owned business for the past 43 years and mother Martha, dad Dave, and son Terry provided great service along with great conversation all on top of their delicious food!
