The food is truly exceptional. The pastries are incredible, and you won't find anything like them outside of Europe. Dining here is a remarkable experience as the owner personally takes your order and prepares the meal himself! He is a talented and entertaining individual, making it an unforgettable experience. You'll never have another dining experience quite like Fritzls.

I've never encountered a cozier restaurant that radiates a sense of international camaraderie. One man crafts all the dishes by hand, prepares and serves the food, cleans up, and spends hours creating specialty desserts that would be right at home in five-star establishments. The service is incredibly quick and friendly. It's impressive how this one individual manages the workload of five people while maintaining such speed and delivering everything with a smile. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond his control, his business will be closing permanently in December. Even battling through rush hour traffic, the quality of the food and service makes it well worth the trip.

Delicious! We've visited several German restaurants in the area, and this one is our absolute favorite! The service is outstanding, managed by a single person who does it all. We highly recommend trying the house special. Just a quick tip: be ready to order as soon as he arrives at your table, because your food will be served before you can finish your sentence. And don't miss out on the beer—especially the Oktoberfest!

I’m really saddened to hear that this German restaurant will be closing in three months due to a lease issue. I think it's much better than Henk's on Northwest Highway. The owner, Mr. Klaus, is exceptionally friendly and pays close attention to every customer. He greets everyone who walks in with a big smile and takes the time to ask how their day is going and how he can assist them. My friend and I don’t drink, but I can imagine the German beers here are excellent. The food we ordered was fantastic; my friend had the Hungarian goulash while I chose the schnitzel. The jaeger sauce, a delicious mix of cognac, mushrooms, and garlic, on the schnitzel was outstanding. I couldn't resist ordering a slice of freshly baked sweet plum strudel, which was the best I’ve ever tasted. I will definitely return for more before the restaurant closes for good. You really should make your way to Rowlett to give it a try; I promise you won’t regret it!
