Bidrage med feedbackI've never been to hugo. wow, I missed! I had thun-fish tars and oysters (half shell and carburized), the leak-the-plate were delicious. the spicy old fashion was the perfect cocktail. the service was impeccable.
Our server was excellent, but eating was just ok and lukewarm. we have eaten here many times and in the last year something has changed.
Our high expectations were met by the terrible experience we have ever experienced. char grilled oysters were good, everything after that was terrible. we both had a red fish, although different preparations, both were equally bad. what seemed a nice piece of red fish served barely warm. the side dishes makkaroni and cheese), was dry and cold and the topped greens were salty and too cold to eat. the manager apologised and reduced each apprehension by fifty percent. even after the discount this experience was expensive $185) and extremely disappointing. there are too many good restaurants in this area to try HUGO’S again and again.
That is the place to be people! if they are looking for a great tasting sneaked kitchen, they must visit hugos oyster asked. the personal, hostess (hannah); customer service, chefs, barkeeper, manager staff (makela) our Waiter(Joe) were all super nice! trust me, I am not braggen, just because my sohn here works as executive chef (jeff), I give props were due. my friend and I were treated so well at our recent visit here. thanks for the excellent service! hands down to the chefs in the kitchen that smile at our faces with our delicious meals. we were here for brunch and eating was absolutely delicious! thank you. chefs. banana French toast with praline bacon w/ white cheddar grits (side) omg, it was all sooo sooo good! my friend pampered in the garnel and grits; the engraving was made like a louisiana grill sauce; the garnels were unpainted as it prefers; said most other restaurants leave the head dish on the garnels, making it difficult to eat; they enjoyed everything. the food proportions were great, so they are full when they go. our drinks were on point! excellent bartender. thx hannah! also we have seen football! also here we appreciate the opportunity to dine in their beautiful restaurant. we will definitely come back. chef jeff, put her heart and her love in what they do here at hugo. soou super proud of you and very happy to see this beautiful smile on your face amy
Highly overpriced for the portion size. not the Fried Oysters but the Wedge Salad and what comes with that portion $27 and to add in other food items one **** mary (so fun) holds you back. I am in hospitality and understanding increased pricing but this was sticker shock. Sorry just have to be honest, as I love this staple establishment in Roswell.
