Diane's Bakery/cafe - ROSLYN

The baked goods at this restaurant are amazing; I especially enjoyed the apple crumb. The staff is friendly and polite, and their salad combinations and sandwiches are top-notch. With plenty of seating available both inside and outside, it's a wonderful spot to enjoy a hot drink and some pastries, making it ideal for a relaxing break.

This place is fantastic! There are so many options to choose from. I tried the pecan pie, which was loaded with pecans and just the right amount of sweetness. I absolutely love this bakery!

We were on the hunt for a quick, light breakfast and stumbled upon the back patio yesterday, so we thought, why not? It was a bit on the pricey side and somewhat confusing at first. If you enter from the street, you find yourself in the bakery, which has an incredible array of options—crumb cakes, pies, and countless other baked goods. If you head down the stairs, you arrive at the deli section. I noticed at least a dozen salad choices, including bean salads, beet salads, chicken salads, and many more—all of which looked delicious. They even have a chalkboard detailing the daily specials. My son ordered the challah French toast, and he said it was great. I was hoping to try the breakfast panini, but it was either sold out or not available. I opted for the breakfast wrap instead, which they toasted in the panini press, and it was fantastic!

I haven't visited this place in years (the reason for being in Roslyn is no longer there), but I had a wonderful experience. The food was great, and the service was prompt. Everything was fantastic!

There is also an upstairs area and a few two-person tables near the salad bar. I was surprised to find that my two salads, which were quite simple, along with an iced coffee and an iced tea, totaled $38. However, considering that salads typically cost over $13 and drinks are around $5 each, it isn't too far off from the usual price range. Overall, I had a lovely experience, especially since I was able to catch up with my oldest friend who lives in Great Neck. It was a perfect meeting spot, and I look forward to returning soon. Additionally, there was a small space next door hosting a shower event, which looked beautiful.
