Bidrage med feedbackI have to mention that the best accompaniment to Mexican food here are the tasty homemade sauces tailored for spice enthusiasts, along with desserts and drinks that you’re sure to enjoy. I personally recommend the beef flautas, pambazos, and sopes—they’re simply the best! The pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and traditional conchas are also great choices to try, and they offer fritters and many more options for desserts and appetizers. The prices are very reasonable, there’s ample parking, and it’s a safe, quiet environment perfect for sharing a meal with family and friends. I'm confident you won’t be disappointed! For a better experience, ask for María Apapacho.
The food is great, but the wait time for the meals had me almost fainting! Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
While some reviews suggested that the food was fantastic but the service fell short, we had a different experience. The food was truly exceptional, and the service was equally impressive. It's a cozy little spot, and while the service isn’t the fastest, it was undeniably friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the Queso with mushrooms; next time, I might even make it my main course! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. It’s a hidden gem, and even though I live 30 miles away, I’d definitely consider making the trip again because it’s that good! A big thank you to the owner for guiding us through the menu and offering excellent suggestions for our orders!
I ordered the Pozole, which contains pork, and let me tell you, it’s incredibly delicious! I can't remember the last time a dish took me back to my fond memories of Mexico, especially around September when Pozole is traditionally enjoyed throughout the month and during our Independence Day celebrations. I do wish the service had been a bit quicker; perhaps it was just our hangry selves talking. But seriously, be patient—the food is absolutely worth the wait!
"My favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff is great and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend the carne asada platter. Kid-friendliness: They were very engaging with my preschooler. Service: Takeout. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $1–10. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dishes: Carnitas."
