1872 Cafe - Rochester

I’ve dined at 1872 many times, and they never let me down. The coffee is fantastic, and this time I tried the grits with Italian sausage, which was honestly the best I've had in a long while!

The food is incredible! I'm a big fan of their shrimp and grits; the sauce is outstanding! The owners are courteous and welcoming too!

I absolutely love this cozy little spot! The English Breakfast tea I ordered was fantastic. I've already shared this place with five families and three co-workers. You should definitely stop by!

A pleasant, homey atmosphere, love the jazz playing. They put ham in my sandwich instead of what i asked for, which was bacon but it was still delicious. Will definitely be back more often, and would love to get some work done in there.

Food is great, service is great. You can get away with a coffee and a nice brunch for maybe $12-$15. My friends hang out here often. Hours are not always as posted, so it’s best to call first.
