Bidrage med feedbackWe always make sure to stop by this cafe whenever we are at the Intramuros area to order their bestseller churros. Their churros are simply the best! Even my LO loves eating them. Last time we went here, we also decided to try their Super Chocolate Cake and it didn't disapppoint. It was creamy, chocolatey and heavenly. And the serving was already good for two, given that it's priced at only P150 (we weren't able to finish it though, coz we were already full). We also tried their humongous empanada and it was also good, although it was kinda dry. Churros Chocolate Cake Empanada Banana Caramel Smoothie Cafe Mocha Cioccolata Cafe is definitely worth recommending. We'll never get tired of eating their well loved churros.
After a long tour in National Museum, we came across Cioccolata near Intramuros and it's a great place to just hang out and chill. They have varieties of food and drinks and it's filling and delicious. It is a must to stop-by whenever you're in the area.
Ordered ......One Hot Caramel Macchiato...Small but absolutely delicious, one of the best CM I have tasted...One Asian Crunch Salad...had an almost fishy taste but greens were crisp and fresh, loved the salad dressing, I would order again...two Chicken with Egg Sandwiches...Excellent, loved it served in the mini bread loaf and the chicken salad was fresh....One Banana Caramel Cold drink...very tasty...and last, Chocolate Churros; Churros were sweet and crisp the chocolate not so good...was idk..bland maybe..just wasn 't up to par. Overall was a very enjoyable experience. We would return. As a foot note they were out of three sandwiches; the corned beef (my second choice), BLT (my first choice) and Grilled Cheese Ensaymada. The cashier didn 't think that was a big deal, it 's only three sandwiches , she told me...lol...three sandwiches is 30% of their sandwich menu...and if you want pizza (third choice) it 's 20-30 minutes as they order it for you from somewhere down the street.
Their coffee and churros are worth it and yummy! Their menu is not too pricey and although the cafe is small, it is somehow still spacious enough. I'm reiterating that the churros is a must taste when you pass-by the location, it's just beside McDonald's and The Bayleaf Hotel.
Date for Two: Banana Caramel, Red Velvet Cream, Cioccolata Churros Total: P370 Overall: We recently had our quick Intramuros Tour and we came across this little churros cafe located outside of Bayleaf Hotel. We needed a place to stay for a quick snack so we gave this one a shot. Banana Caramel (P120) – finished this one so fast, a reliable indicator that the drink was awesome! Red Velvet Cream (P150) – can’t stop thinking about this drink until now! It’s so chocolatey-rich and creamy, texture is astounding and taste is heavenly. Again, we finished this quite quicker than expected. Ohhh, can they just deliver from Intramuros to Mandaluyong? Huhu. We need this in our lives. It’s so good this one deserves a closer look. Haha! So we guess you’re drooling on this as well right? Cioccolata Churros (P100) – the churros is all good, perfectly crisp and sweetened – the chocolate dip is a bit disappointing. It’s bland, not that thick and tasty as expected. Props to them for using local tablea though. Or maybe if they add more options with the dips, it would make the entire picture wonderful. And given it’s just a hundred bucks, it’s just fine. Value for money: For the drinks, it’s worth it! The prices are a steal already. Churros can be set aside the next time. Should have given this one 5 stars but 4 for now, will wait for those extra dips *fingers crossed*. Haha. #DateForTwo at Cioccolata Churros Cafe
