Cafe Zupas Edina - Richfield

This restaurant features an extensive menu with a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Each meal comes with a chocolate-covered strawberry and a roll, which adds a nice touch. We especially appreciate the drink bar.

The staff was attentive and friendly. We sampled both the clam chowder and the wild rice soup, but unfortunately, they were a bit lackluster in flavor. On a positive note, we enjoyed two desserts that I found to be excellent. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, but it was also clean. The salads looked impressive, even though I didn’t order one on this occasion.

This restaurant is fantastic for soup, salad, and sandwiches. Although everyone has their own favorites, my personal top choice is the Nuts About Berries salad. For sandwiches, I typically go for either the brisket or the pulled pork. As for soup, the cauliflower bisque is always a solid choice, but I also enjoy the lobster bisque as a nice change every so often.

The food was delicious, but I felt that the lunch prices were a bit steep for just a small soup and sandwich. On the positive side, they added a nice touch by surprising each guest with a chocolate-dipped strawberry.

The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. My only minor complaint was that the Turkey Avocado Club sandwich had more bread than filling. Additionally, instead of the Chipotle Chicken Ranch salad I ordered, I received a pork version, but it turned out to be unexpectedly delicious and satisfying.
