Fish Fizz - Richardson

I had read an article about Fish Fizz and we decided to try it out. The fish and chips were delicious! The fish was perfect, as well as the light, crispy batter. We also had the crab dip appetizer and it was crazy good! What an unexpected treat! We have lived in New England many years, so we know fantastic seafood. The British Emporium store is fabulous as well, the restaurant and store are combined. All things English. It was a delightful afternoon! We also purchased some English desserts to go. I’ve had Fish N Chips in both London and Ireland and this place ranks above any I’ve had across the pond. Can’t wait until they reopen. Hopefully closer to Dallas. My local (Richardson) champion is Fish n Fizz. NOTE: Only open Thursday Sunday. I have never had fish n chips in Europe but I imagine this is how they would be . Small menu so FnC specialty makes sense. FISH: Fresh, moist filets of fish with a light flavor. Admittedly... I think many fish n chips dishes have pretty good fish. I even enjoy Captain D 's which was my first fried fish experience as a kid as I am carnivorous BATTER : The star of the show! The batter resembles texture and airy crispiness of a ... cheese puff (minus cheese). It 's light, crispy, and disintegrates in your mouth . Seen in photo is a Large order $19.
