Wet Hen Cafe - Reno

We stopped for breakfast before catching our flight back to Arkansas from Reno after spending a week at Lake Tahoe. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the service was extremely attentive, earning this place a perfect 10! The pancakes were the best I've ever had, they were so big that I could only finish one.

The restaurant is small and the atmosphere was lacking. When I arrived, I wanted to avoid sitting near a group of people so I wouldn't feel like I was intruding on their conversation. I asked an employee if I could sit in a specific spot, but he rudely replied that he was already working there, even though he had been sitting on a red couch on his phone before. It seemed like he was probably working on his phone, but there were empty tables available. It appeared that no one really enjoys being there. I didn't appreciate his attitude and didn't feel welcomed or safe. Instead, I decided to go to my usual cafe, where the environment is always friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the space is comfortable.

Excellent food with great service. Ordered Denver omelet and potato’s and it was great. Potatoes were crisp and not greasy. Super friendly crew and very attentive.
