Blue Moon Rehoboth - REHOBOTH BEACH

This restaurant has become a landmark in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. While you can enjoy your meal in the dining room, I typically prefer the bar area. From Sunday to Thursday, there's a lively atmosphere with music featuring Nate on the keys and various guests. The food is excellent, and I highly recommend the tuna carpaccio. Be sure to call ahead for reservations, as the show runs from 6 to 8:30 PM.

From the friendly front-of-house staff to the attentive and wonderful servers, and all the way to the kitchen where the magic happens, The Blue Moon never disappoints. If you're planning a visit to Rehoboth Beach and are in search of a fine dining experience—whether it's for a special occasion or just a treat for yourself—The Blue Moon is the place to go. If you're fortunate enough to visit during the off-season, their Tasting Tuesday menu is truly remarkable. If you're in Rehoboth Beach, DE, you absolutely have to stop by the Blue Moon! It’s a fantastic spot that offers a wonderful variety of food and entertaining shows. During my recent four-day getaway from Lancaster County, I made a reservation for my second evening in town and then again for my last night because I couldn't find a better place after many visits to Rehoboth Beach than Blue Moon Restaurant and Cabaret Bar! I had an amazing time at the @mrsmagnolia show! I haven’t laughed this hard in ages. She truly embodies the next generation of entertainers with her intellectual performances that resonate widely. This time she performed as Elvira, and she nailed it! I eagerly look forward to returning to see her again. Fabulous doesn’t even begin to describe it! A huge thank you to the @rehobothbluemoon for such a memorable evening. The owners are wonderful, and the staff is the friendliest I’ve encountered. The drinks are creatively crafted, and as an award-winning chef, I can confidently say this is where you’ll find the best food in Rehoboth Beach. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the warm welcome I received from the servers during both visits—Kim, Douglas, and the fabulous Katelyn, who ensured my “virgin” non-alcoholic beverages were flowing all night! Friends, fans, and food lovers, be sure to check out @thereal_jasmine_blue as well! She has a kind heart and will bring sparkle, fashion, fun, and excitement to your evening. I also highly recommend catching any of the headlining @mrsmagnolia shows at Blue Moon, which often sells out. Take my advice and plan a date with your family and friends to go!

My boyfriend and I went there last night for dinner. A supremely disappointing experience. We ordered cocktails before dinner and they were OK although the barkeeper was heavy handed with the ice. Starters were adequate. I had the fried green tomatoes , and he had the market salad. Neither was particularly inspiring. The entrees were a disaster. He had the Ribeye Steak. It was inconsistently cooked throughout, and the accompanying potatoes were dry to the point of almost being like chips. I had the Provenceal Swordfish (pictured). I haven 't seen plating this bad in a long time. The fish was served over white rice and peas (the peas were clearly frozen). The swordfish itself was overcooked and topped with something resembling jarred tomato sauce and capers. Scatter about the plate were jarred olives of no distinction; one rolled onto the table when our server put the plate in front of me. Service was awkward. Our server addressed us as Gentlemen in the most perfunctionary manner and her interaction with us was very stilted. The interior of the place is oddly laid out and you may have other diners sitting uncomfortably close to you. Blue Moons come about very rarely. Avoid this Blue Moon and opt for one of the numerous other options available nearby.

Very quaint restaurant. The food was good, not amazing. Docked 1 star as the food took a little over an hour to arrive apparently because the show had started after we placed our order and many people flooded the bar with orders. But our waiter Kim was nice to bring us another round of drinks on the house. Overall, nice atmosphere, good food and drinks, just don't arrive too soon before/after the show starts.
