Chart House Redondo Beach

The food we received was cold, the fingerling potatoes were hard and dried out, and the broccolini was charred and burnt. The garlic mashed potatoes were also cold and quite bland, while the lobster tails were disappointing compared to what I remember from the past. It’s disheartening to say that my date and I spent over $250 for the two of us, and considering I chose this restaurant because it used to be one of my favorites, I can't see myself returning. I really wish they hadn't changed the menu; while the pictures look appealing, the food sadly did not live up to expectations.

Chart House was a truly exceptional experience! The menu was special, featuring a birthday greeting for my mom, which made it even more memorable. The food and drinks were delicious and expertly prepared, and the staff was incredibly friendly. It felt like we were given the royal treatment, and my mom felt like a celebrity! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our waitress, Jean, and the entire team for prioritizing every detail and ensuring my mom had the best 76th birthday celebration at Chart House, Redondo Beach. Thank you!

For appetizers, we ordered the coconut shrimp and a half-dozen oysters on the half shell. The coconut shrimp typically comes with five pieces, but since we had six people, we opted for a double order. Everything was delicious! For our main courses, we chose salmon, New York strip, and spicy tuna, all of which I would highly recommend. We also decided to add the salad bar, which was a great choice. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert, and we also ordered key lime pie. The food was delicious, the overall experience was fantastic, and our waiter, Fred, kept us entertained throughout the evening. He was amazing, and I will definitely request to sit in his section next time I visit. In summary, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend The Chart House!

Great service and great food. We had the prime rib and the chicken, both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor.

Great for a special occasion. The food service was extremely slow. The views of the ocean are amazing. Casual dining environment with a full bar. Reservations highly recommended.
