Moheen Curry House - Redbridge

This was such a lovely experience. They have really invested in decor and tables etc. I’m Punjabi- the food is SO good. The service was great and the people are so friendly. The atmosphere is cool and it’s just humble, heartwarming, great quality food and I will never go to any other Indian restaurant. This is tops.

What a shame I have to write this negative review as the food was actually really good! Me, my husband and my elderly parents came here for lunch today as a family. I am currently 9 months pregnant and was feeling very hot and flushed so kindly asked the waitress to turn on a fan or air con if possible and she agreed, she was again very friendly. As we were leaving a gentleman who worked there came to the front desk and said very loudly that our bill wouldn't even be £10 and we were asking for air conditioning! That doesn't profit him, he was really rude talking so we could all hear and I was really hurt by his unprofessional and unpleasant comments! My parents were so ashamed to hear what he had said they slowly walked out but the gentleman still continued saying comments as I did tell the staff I heard him. My experience was very unpleasant this was a restaurant where me, my brother usually visit and not had a n issue and usually staff are very nice. But now we will not be returning as felt so insulted and small due the unprofessionalism of one staff member, he should really undergo some type of customer service course or shouldn't be working there at all with that type of attitude and remarks he thinks is ok to make to customers, I'm truly disgusted with him. Excellent food. I don’t trust that it’s non halal food. They should put a sigh in the window saying it’s not halal. For me halal is HARAM!!

It is a very nice and hygiene place. The samosa and spring roll are very nice! Overall 10/10 Best food place in Goodmayes definitely

I was Introduced to Moheens last year and it is unbelievable authentic curry. The food is not what I call English curry (chicken tikka massala etc) it is lamb curry, chicken curry, goat curry proper curry. The tandoori mixed grill is superb and so are the lamb chops. The breads are made from fresh and to order Roti , nan, keema nan and paratha. I live over 1 hour drive away but there is nothing in my area to compare to this so I drive up, stock up and freeze a load for the coming weeks. Do not go here expecting a high end restaurant decor or dining experience it is all about the food!!!
