Fisher Center Spiegeltent - RED HOOK

Great atmosphere, mediocre food. I know it 's a pop-up, but the food doesn 't have to be bland. And if it must be bland, might the prices be a bit more reasonable?

I would recommend it because it is so convenient to eat there before or after a performance. But I didn't think the food was as interesting or as tasty as I remembered it from recent years. The service was excellent and I didn't feel rushed, which was nice since I was having lunch with people I don't see often and it gave us time to catch up.

It is the only place to get a meal before attending a Bard Summerscape peeformance. So they have a captive audience unless you want to picnic. The menu is limited. The dishes are mediocre and small. The prices are high. I have eaten here several years and the food does not improve, but the service is superfast probably because most things are pre-made. I recommend picnicking.
