We had lunch here, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. There were so many flies in this establishment that it was hard to keep track, and they seemed to be everywhere. The staff was not very attentive and seemed unconcerned about how long it took for us to receive our meals. I watched four other people order after me and receive their food before I did. I even saw them prepare my food and then leave it sitting out for about ten minutes while waiting for one item, and during that time, I couldn't help but notice the flies buzzing around it. Until corporate Wendy's intervenes to address these issues, I would recommend choosing another place to eat.
I have to admit, they make some fantastic breakfast sandwiches, but I've been let down three times, so I've decided to stop ordering from them. Twice my coffee arrived cold; the first time I called them politely from my office, and the second time I just popped it in the microwave. This morning, I wanted to give them another chance and requested that they deliver my coffee. However, after waiting for seven minutes and not receiving it, I decided to walk away. I'm sorry, but I've made up my mind—I'm no longer their customer.
The Randleman Wendy's was once the best location, but now they clean their fries in ice-cold water 20 minutes before serving customers. It's just as disappointing as the two locations in Asheboro.
Usually, it's a great experience. It's typical fast food. However, this location isn't the best; the one by Randolph Mall is better than all the other Wendy's in the area. My burger wasn't cooked properly, and they were out of drinks and ketchup. Plus, the chicken nuggets weren't fresh.
The drink was too sweet, but the #1 Combo was delicious. The service was average.
