The Pit Authentic Bbq - Raleigh

It was cool. BBQ was kind of dry though and they didn apos;t put any utensils or bbq sauce in the to go bag. The sweet potato casserole was delicious the greens were good, although they were missing some salt.

By far the biggest fried chicken dinner portion I have ever experienced, batter was light and spiced right. Chicken was moist and full of flavor. I will need to try the barbecue next time Im in town.

Seasonal Skillet Cornbread was hard as a rock and inedible . Tofu BBQ Soy Nuggets and Chopped BBQ were tasty, but I wish theyd include BBQ sauce in takeout orders. Hushpuppies tasty. Biscuit dry. Mac and cheese great!

The food was amazing! The carrot cake was a big piece of delicious! I will be ordering again! Packed with care!

The heat from the spices were great Im never disappointed with the turkey bbq I even got some bbq sauce which added a extra kick to the bbq. The potato salad is always ok a little bland but not really bad the Mac and cheese I always a hit or miss it was better than the last time I had it
