City Market Sushi - Raleigh

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to, and I’ve tried quite a few! They offer fantastic fusion options, and both the service and food quality are excellent. I would have given it five stars if the prices were a bit lower, but I still love their sushi and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the downtown Raleigh area! I'm especially fond of their lychee dish!

On Saturday, we were in downtown and looking for a quiet restaurant that served sushi. We ended up at City Market. They had a decent selection of unique rolls, although there were quite a few speed options that felt a bit unusual for a sushi place. The seating inside is limited, so reservations are recommended. I wouldn’t say it’s the best sushi in Raleigh, but it’s pretty good overall. I would definitely consider coming back.

The sushi definitely deserves a solid 5 stars; it was absolutely delicious! However, I had to rate it 4 stars because of the acoustics. The restaurant is small, but it feels more like a noisy sports bar. We really had to strain to hear each other.

Love loves it here! The sushi is excellent service is great, usually have no problem getting a table. Love the squid salad. We celebrated our anniversary this year and the waiter was friendly enough to give us free tasting. To celebrate our favorite place in Raleigh!

Had a really nice dinner here! The sushi wasn?t the best I?ve had but was still very fresh and tasty. The roll selection was solid and varied. Prices were all very reasonable and the ambiance was great!
