Pepeton's Grill - Quezon City

Giving this place 3.5 stars because of the affordable and large serving sizes. In addition, the staff were very accommodating and would continuously check if you need anything. As a bonus, there was even a magic show happening when we got there! It was a good idea for kids to be entertained! What we ordered -- 1. Pancit Canton Quite salty. Not too happy about this. 2. Sizzling Tofu Sisig It was A LOT. I love pork sisig but health is wealth so tofu is the best alternative and I was very happy because they cooked it deliciously. 3. Lechon Kangkong The lechon kawali was crispy and cooked to perfection. You should try it! 4. Bundok Rice Bundok is reaaaal! Not even sure how we finished it. 5. Sago't Gulaman Not yet listed on their menu but it was around php75. Super worth it because of the size --larger than my hand. I think it was around a liter. Good for sharing!

Made a resevation through Zomato and we were greeted very nicely by the servera as we enter the non smoking part of the resto. The menu was very appetizing...there's so much to choose from on a not so expensive rate. We were supposed to order tgeir best seller kapalmuks..but when I saw the serving from the other table..it was HUGE...and the waiter said its good for 5- 7 people.. so i immediately cancelled the order because there's just 3 of us, my hisband and my 7 yr old son. We opted to order their Bachichay ..a smaller version of the kapalmuks which is good for 3-4 pax. We also tried their Fried chicken, hototai and Chopsuey..I must say their serving are mostly generous ..the food is tasty as well we loved everything that we have odered. We wil surely come back.

Pepeton's is a family fave. We repeatedly come here for their Maskara, made of a pig's face, fried to perfection. It tastes like crispy pata, just yummier and less oily. They also have crispy hito served with a side of mustasa salad, made of course of mustasa leaves, vinegar, onions and tomatoes. Pepeton's never fails to impress us with its value for money memorable food! :)

Not bad for a restaurant who tries to offer comfort Filipino dishes. The Putok Batok is remarkable! Not a place for Family and friend gatherings!

My wifey and I have been meaning to dine here long time ago, and one night we did. Parking was limited but there were people outside (not from Pepeton's though) who'd assist you for a street parking. The place is big and it has a smoking and non-smoking area. We were seated at the non-smoking area and at the time there were lots of people, and place was kind of busy. We have got no problem in terms of service despite the busy night. We ordered for a Sinigang na Bangus Belly, Pinakbet Ilocano, and of course, the one we were salivating about, the Kapalmuks! The serving size was actually good. Big enough to feed 3-4 people. However, the Sinigang and Pinakbet did not meet up my expectations. Belly was not actually a bangus belly buy just pieces of boneless bangus. Worst part was the taste of the fish. We were kinda sensitive with the "gilik" and it tasted like that. Pinakbet was just okay. I was hoping for a better one. But... Our visit wasn't actually disappointing because of the Kapalmuks! Kapalmuks was our saving grace with perfectly cooked crackling thick face! ???? Well, I couldn't say more except it was... is PERFECT! We brought our leftover home and it's still crackling after we reheated it. I'd only give 3.5 but I guess they deserve for 4 because of the KAPALMUKS!
