Fontana Famous Pizza Gyro - Queens

This Gyro sandwich is hands down the best. It is incredibly delicious!

I highly recommend the Greek club sandwich. It was excellent!

The salad was delicious and the food tasted fresh. It never disappoints.

BEING GREEK MYSELF .. My first experience at Fontana's was when I was a little boy and my uncle who lived in Astoria took me and my brothers there on a special occasion. I have yearned for this place ever since and have returned on numerous occasions when I was in the area. In the decades that I have been returning I have not noticed any negative changes. The food and the service is as great as I remember it. IT'S AS GOOD AS IT GETS FOR THIS TYPE OF RESTAURANT. ENJOY !

This place is great if you are looking for great pizza and gros. The portions are huge for what you pay and the food is amazing. I've only ever denied it and didn't have to wait for seating or service. Waiters and waiters make sure we are good from the beginning to the end.
