The Keys - Put in Bay

We had planned to sit at the bar stools outside for drinks, but Karen again approached us in a rude manner, stating that tables were reserved solely for diners. It didn't make sense, especially with so few customers around. Closing at 7 PM, they really should be using common sense—after all, they could be making money off alcohol sales. Ultimately, they lost our business; we left for another establishment where we would have ordered drinks and left tips.

Incredible food! I stepped out of my comfort zone to try what might be the best sandwich I've ever had at Put-in-Bay: the blackened grilled cheese on Texas toast. It was absolutely delicious! With fantastic service and a great atmosphere, you can't go wrong at The Keys!

We ordered the fish fingers appetizer, and the breading was way too hard. It was mostly just breading with barely any fish inside. At $16, it feels like a joke! The kids' meal with fish sticks for $12 had the same issue. The $12 mac and cheese seems like it came straight from a Kraft box. Overall, definitely not worth it!

Stopped here on a Tuesday in the summer at 2 PM and was seated right away. Nice view of the bay. Had the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Cuban. He said it was one of the best Cubans he?s ever had. The sweetpotato fries were worth the extra up charge as the side to my sandwich. The service was fast and friendly!

Super menu. Food is delicious. For vegetarian, black bean burger with a side of rice and beans, sweet potato fries is great. Their chicken soup is good too. Great service. Outdoor seating is pleasant except for the fact that could see few water snakes.Nice ambience. Neat restrooms.
