Red Moon - Put-in-Bay

The liquor tasted watered down, and I had to send back an Old Fashioned because it didn’t taste right. The waitress tasted the drink herself and claimed it was fine, but we were still charged for it. I also ordered a Maker's Mark on the rocks, and it was extremely light in color and tasted diluted. I would not recommend wasting your time at this place.

The restaurant was understaffed and had high prices. The service was lacking, and we noticed there were no posted prices. We should have checked beforehand.

We had an incredible experience at the restaurant! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the bartenders went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We visited on a Friday night, and it was calm and relaxing. However, on Sunday, it was definitely lively, yet they still served us remarkably quickly. I've read some reviews mentioning that it's too noisy to be considered a speakeasy, but you have to keep in mind that it's Put In Bay on the weekend! I can't recall the name of the bartender from our first night, but he was very efficient and funny. On our second night, Delaney took care of us and made our experience even more enjoyable! Not to mention, the drinks were flawless! I can't wait to come back!

Went to Red Moon tonight and ordered a whiskey sour…did not taste like any whiskey sour I’ve ever had. Was very sour and tasted like ingredients had gone bad. The bartender poured it in a new glass and added soda water and ice to fix it and said I would be charged regardless if I didn’t like the drink. First picture is what I originally ordered and second picture is when he tried to “fix” it. Terrible customer service…especially after waiting 15 minutes to get my drink after ordering. Not to mention, this is no longer a speakeasy atmosphere. When I came here before volume levels were strictly enforced and the lighting was dim…like a speakeasy should be. Will not be returning.

I loveeeee this bar!!! They are playing a jazz versions of Barbie Gurl!!!!!!
