Closer To The Vine - Punta Gorda

The atmosphere and furniture were pleasant and enjoyable, but the service and menu left much to be desired. The venue was clean, yet it took a while for tables to be cleared after guests departed. Overall, the service felt disorganized, and the owner appeared to prioritize certain tables over others. The highlight of my meal was unfortunately just a few tiny slices of melon that accompanied my stale chips and dry panini. Overall, the portion was quite small and definitely not worth the ten dollars I paid, as I left still feeling hungry. On a positive note, the owner was very knowledgeable about the wine selections. If you're a wine enthusiast or looking to learn more, I would recommend Closer to the Vine. Otherwise, I’d say it’s best to skip it.
