Roots Ocean Prime - Princeton

Very nice dining experience. First time here. Had to park in the garage near the Wawa and then a short 5 minute walk, unfortunately for me it was in the rain. There is closer street parking available but good luck finding a spot during dinner. The food was very good. We were seated by the bar which seemed a little cramped. I'm sure the main dining area is nicer. Tried the beef Wellington and chicken parm. Chicken was very good, and the bw was good but had me wanting for more steak after. I will have to try the filet next time. Overall it was very good and i will definitely visit again.

This is an outstanding steakhouse for the area. I’m truly impressed with this restaurant, as it competes with many of the top steakhouses in New York. The crab cocktail and lobster bites are exceptional, and the steaks are cooked to perfection. The service has a classic, welcoming touch, providing excellent hospitality. The prices are typical for a restaurant of this caliber, so I have no strong opinions on that front—just as you would expect. I will definitely be returning often. Service: Dine-in.

I was disappointed with my experience. For a dinner that cost over $100 per person, the food was lacking, receiving a score of 1. The service was mediocre, earning a 3, as was the atmosphere, which also rated a 3. Overall, it didn't meet my expectations.
