Chopt Creative Salad Co. - Princeton

I had a wonderful first experience at Chop't, and I owe it to Jay's recommendation of the Chicken Tinga. It was amazing! I will definitely be going back. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly suggest you give the Chicken Tinga a shot (it has a nice kick to it) along with the creamy tomato basil soup.

I discovered a piece of glass in my salad today, and I nearly swallowed it. It was a terrifying experience—I've never had anything like that happen before. My co-worker beside me even heard my teeth grinding against the glass. The restaurant offered to refund the salad, but nothing more. I can’t trust this place to provide a safe meal, so I won’t be ordering from here again.

I believe the staff I interacted with during my visit could benefit from a more approachable demeanor. Since it was my first time there, I needed a moment to gather my thoughts and had a few questions. My experience with the staff made me wish there was another location nearby that I could frequent instead. I truly enjoyed the food, the concept, and the portion sizes. The menu is both creative and exciting.

I'm really glad we have this restaurant in town. The staff is very friendly, and it's great to have a salad option available. As much as I enjoy Hoagie Haven, I can't always have that for lunch. The special salads, like the Greek-inspired summer special, are delicious. If you choose to create your own salad, you can come up with something really nice, but I also think the Classic Cobb salad is quite good. While Princeton isn't exactly known for being affordable, I feel much better eating here compared to indulging in something greasy and heavy. I also appreciate the afternoon light that fills the space, and the interior is nice. It's typically not crowded, except during weekday lunch hours sometimes.
