The Keg Steakhouse & Bar

A chain steakhouse that is similar to Ruth and ChrisMaybe even a little higher end.

Went here on a Monday night The place was pretty empty at 5 pm.

Extra! from the child menu to the dishes, everything is good and generous. blue cheese net is very recommended. Our waitress was very good advice and very nice! a very nice surprise in a very industrial city.

Have been going to Kegs for close to 40 years and I have never, ever gone to one that had run out of prime rib by 7pm! They blamed it on having an unexpected large group earlier. really? Going to a Keg and being told that they have run out of a staple item like prime rib would be tantamount to go eating to a Swiss Chalet and being told they run of white meat!. Service was very good, steak was good, and hostess tried her best to apologize. but frankly the restaurant manager here does not measure up to the standards of the Keg chain. What an embarassment to the Keg name. an reputation.

Excellent dinner, so so service, nice atmosphere after the reno a year or so ago. my only compolaint is the asking if you want the complimentary bread and asking the minute the bill is on the table if you need the machine. very rude in my mind.
