Japanese Wasabi Sushi Wonton House

We went out for a fast lunch. Wasabi is a good choice for getting quality meals. We thought we'd try something different, and had a seafood udon dish. Tasty with veggies, seafood and noodles. Glad we tried it! Also had the PG rolls with it. Plenty of food for two for lunch.

Wow stopped here for lunch...what a good choice. Fantastic food, amazing sushi and super clean! Really busy at lunch time with locals even the Sherriff showed up.....just to eat. Easy location and tables outside. A real gem!

We went here based on the TA recommendation as it's the highest rated sushi in town. We had tried sushi at another establishment in PG, which I reviewed, that was hands down the worst sushi we've ever had.First impressions: restaurant is small and popular, there are definite lunch and dinner rushes. The restaurant also offers pre-made sushi to go, which I think is pretty convenient, so, if you're in a hurry it would be an easy stop. The staff was reasonably friendly.We ordered miso soup, sunomono, California roll, tuna roll, rainbow roll, BC roll, tuna roll and dynamite roll. The soups were good, the sunomono was pre-made, which isn't uncommon but came served in plastic Tupperware. We're not sure what's with the rolls in this city but the rolls were HUGE, almost unmanageably huge! The rolls were basic and came as advertised. At home, our rainbow rolls are topped with several different kinds of fish, this roll was topped with avocado, salmon and fish eggs, which is fine. Nothing about what we ate wowed us but, we live in the Fraser Valley where we have access to some of the best sushi in the country.In comparison to the other place in town, this place blew them out of the water completely! The food was good, not the best, definitely not the worst and would fill that sushi void, if craving sushi in the north!

Always fresh, very friendly, always busy. Limited seating at lunch time, but take out is quick and worth taking back to the office

I'm staying down town Prince George and there are limited options for getting a quick lunch that is not unhealthy fast food. Wasabi Sushi was very good. They had sit down and take away options. You could see the kitchen staff preparing the food. It was fresh. It is not the "best sushi you will ever have", but it is good and you will be happy with it based on your options.
