Bidrage med feedbackI had my first legal pint in 1978. I was in my sixth form at Whiston Secondary School. During our lunch hour, a few of us hurried over so I could buy a pint!
The service we received was quite disappointing. We were served the wrong dish and then left without any food at all, as no one informed us that there was no ribeye steak available. The kitchen had already closed, leaving us out of luck. This used to be a fantastic restaurant, but it seems that the new management doesn't prioritize customer experience. It’s sadly another pub that seems to be on the brink of closing down.
The service was quick, and the prices offered great value for the quality of the meal. We will definitely be returning. The two ladies who attended to us were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They even checked in on us five minutes after we started eating, which is a nice touch that enhances the overall customer experience—something that not enough waiting staff do. The ingredients in our meals were fresh and crispy, indicating good kitchen practices. The shandy we ordered was well-balanced too. The desserts were delightful, although the sauces had slightly runny consistency from the heat. A nice touch was the warm brownie served at the perfect temperature. Overall, we had a fantastic meal in a clean, friendly setting at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant. Well done!
My first time in Wellington was fantastic! The staff were friendly and chatty, creating a lovely atmosphere. I went there with my cousin and her husband, and her son was the star of the evening—he’s an amazing singer and played the guitar beautifully. I definitely plan to return in the afternoon for lunch and dessert.
The staff is friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. I've eaten here a few times and it’s been pretty good. They also host regular evening events, such as quiz nights and live music on Saturdays. I would definitely recommend it!
