The Deer Hunter - Poste de Flacq

We enjoyed a buffet lunch before our round of golf, and the selection was impressive, with many delicious options. The staff was very attentive, quickly offering us drinks with just a glance. Additionally, the restaurant overlooks the golf course and features some charming wildlife, including ducks!

A wonderful fine dining experience! I had the grilled salmon, steak, and Indian chicken curry, all of which were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was delightful, especially being located near the golf course.

It's the off-season here, and there aren't many guests. I'm not sure, but it seemed like the staff were a bit demotivated, which affected the quality of the food.

This is a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. I would love to see a wider variety of food options for lunch.

We had visited this restaurant before and really enjoyed it, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, our experience this time was not as good, making us feel it was overpriced for what we received. My husband's calamari were very chewy and lacked flavor. On the positive side, the duck was delicious, and my vegan dishes were quite tasty. They have a great vegan menu, which is a definite plus! The waiter even inquired about our dietary preferences and adjusted things from the kitchen accordingly. However, the service felt somewhat lacking in friendliness; it seemed forced. It was evident that the season had just ended, and the staff seemed a bit burnt out, which shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this caliber. It's a shame...
