Hong Kong Palace - Poste de Flacq

Beautiful restaurant Quite pricey for its portion but the food is good They were out of stock of apple juice so i got a normal mojito instead of the apple and it was delicious

I was there with family (over 10 ppl) on Christmas and they could not provide most of the dishes on their menu. They had no veg starters and nothing veg; it was a total embarrassment to our vegetarian guests. The wait staff was rude, saying things like chinese people don't eat this and that despite on their menu assuming they eat dog meat and lizards only. Complete amateurism from our usual incompetent and unskilled mauritians.

STAY AWAY if you're looking for authentic Chinese food. Restaurant couldn't provide most of its menu on xmas day and yet it was open. Waiter was annoyed when taking orders as most of it was unavailable and was taking out her frustration on us. Food was below average having work and lived in China and Hong Kong, not authentic Chinese food or even Mauritian Chinese food. Too bad my review is based on what they could provide on that day. Lame.

Lovely staff....mauritian cuisine and nice chinese cuisine...its lovely
