Jimmy John's - Port Richey

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years, and I live just 3.3 miles away. When I called to place an order, I was told that I was outside their delivery area. I called back and asked to speak to the manager, who claimed to be in charge. I asked about their delivery radius, and he told me it was limited to a 7-minute distance from the restaurant. I pointed out that I was only 3.3 miles away, which would take roughly 5 minutes to drive, but he insisted I was outside their delivery range. When I asked for the name of the regional manager, he said it was a franchise and refused to give me the owner's name. When I threatened to find it out myself, he responded with a dismissive, sarcastic remark. This is how the manager treated me as a customer. I strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant, especially if you dislike dealing with rude people. If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. When I ordered a sandwich that contained capicola, I wasn't informed that the place was actually out of capicola. While waiting for my sandwich, I noticed a sign indicating that they had it available, so I asked if the sign was outdated. I was told they had it now, but when I opened the menu, there was no sandwich featuring it. It seemed like the staff were more focused on their own entertainment than on providing good service to customers. Moreover, the place was empty—there wasn't a single customer next to me. I should have taken that as a warning. I won't be coming back.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. They practiced social distancing, which was excellent.

I ordered three subs and was disappointed to discover that the tuna sub had very little tuna in it; it only had lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

I can't recommend spending $50 at this restaurant for what feels like basic cafeteria food. You'd be better off enjoying a school lunch with your kids instead.
