They handle orders consistently every day, so I can't understand why my order was the only one that hadn't been served, especially when I was the only customer left in the lobby. The young woman making the drinks was dismissive about the oversight and didn't apologize, even though it was clear I had been waiting as well. They completely overlooked my order. It’s frustrating. Was it due to my being Asian? This kind of micro-aggression within our community is becoming too common. Please, let the quality of your coffee be matched by better customer service.

I’m really pleased to see a JJ Bean in Port Moody! My husband loves their coffee. The location is great, the interior is tidy and inviting, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. However, I was disappointed during my last two visits when I ordered a matcha shiver—they didn’t taste good at all. From now on, I think I’ll just stick to hot drinks.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the iced coffee I ordered had a really unusual taste that I just couldn’t quite place. I asked someone else to try it, and they felt the same way. Ultimately, I ended up throwing it away, which is something I've never done with coffee before.

As a loyal fan of JJ, I must express my disappointment with the iced mocha I ordered at this location. While I've had great experiences in the past, today's coffee was surprisingly bitter and didn't have the flavor I usually look forward to. Sadly, this means I won't be coming back to this location in the future.

I'm sorry to have to leave such a negative review, but I feel it's important to highlight a few concerns. Although the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant, the quality of the drinks falls short. The matcha frappe has an inconsistent flavor each time I've ordered it, and the most recent one I received was not drinkable, especially for over $7. I recommend standardizing the drink recipes and updating staff training to align with JJ's standards. Thank you.
