My mom visited this restaurant last week, and unfortunately, the debit machines were down. After she tapped her card, she started to leave but was suddenly stopped by an employee who informed her that her payment had been declined. This situation was both embarrassing and rude. She checked her bank statement and confirmed that the transaction had gone through. The employee then rudely confiscated the items she had already purchased and told her to sort it out with the bank. It was quite aggressive—over a $10 transaction? Another customer behind her faced similar issues, and my mom even warned him that he might encounter an overcharge. She had to handle this mess during her lunch break and, as a result, didn’t even get to eat. I have the employee's details, and I definitely cannot recommend this place unless you want to risk losing both your purchased items and your peace of mind.

I've met five incredible people at this location, and they've all been fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and courteous, always ready to help and chat to make your day better. I really love this 7-Eleven!

I called twice to check if they had a specific IQOS heat product I needed. I understand that they may be busy, but being disconnected twice was quite frustrating. This is Port Moody—how busy could it really be? I made another call at 1:15 PM (the first was between 12 and 12:30) and was hung up on again. I know they stock this product, but the lack of assistance from the staff prompted me to write this review. While I recognize that employees often work hard and are underpaid, a little bit of customer service would make a significant difference.

It's a standard 7-Eleven, but they do offer a self-checkout option. The staff at the register was very kind and welcoming. I would recommend it for a quick visit.
