The Rainforest Café - Port Macquarie

Surly staff in cafe though the drinks were ok - cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat due to the bad reviews above.However, what was really infuriating was the $20 fee we had to pay as a family-of-five to walk through the rainforest path that led from the cafe. How greedy and opportunistic.

Sea acres in a great spot to coffee or dine.It is set in the rainforest area and has plenty of parking.Disabled parking closd to front door.You can walk the rainforest or coffed in the cafe.Service is promt and you do not wait long unless you have a cooked meal.Coffes is very good here and the bushland setting is fantastic.They have a very good menu which is reasonably priced.Something different to coffee or eat at when in Port Macquarie.Reccomendec.

We have had some very nice dining experiences at this cafe but were quite disappointed when we visited recently.It was a Sunday lunch for a group of 6. They were understaffed and we were told there would be at least a half hour wait. 2 of our choices were not available as listed. Drinks were not brought out together. When they arrived the meals were nice but too many things were not up to scratch on the day!And i did email them the following day and received no reply at all.For $150 we were disappointed especially when there are so many choices in Port !

Sitting in the glass enclosed cafe surrounded by rain forest and being served by friendly staff is great . Devonshire tea (date scones) and cappuccino and free wi fi makes for a very relaxing environment
