Stargazy Inn - PORT ISAAC

Can't really rate this place. Main issue is they claim on their website (as I've shown in the attached picture) that they have veggie and vegan options available, yet only had 1 starter and 1 main that was veggie. When asking the server the only other option they had was a tomato salad. They also put Parmesan (which wasn't mentioned on the menu) on the allegedly vegetarian risotto, and typically Parmesan is NOT vegetarian. As a general warning to places that seem unaware that Parmesan isn't vegetarian, if someone more fussy brought this up with trading standards then you'd be looking at a big fine. Only other qualm is that the portions are very very small given the price.Other than that however, the staff were absolutely lovely and service was quick. The decor is incredible and the food was also of very very high quality. Just disappointing that they're not sticking to what is advertised on their website.

We just had drinks on the terrace, and the view of the sea was breathtaking. The service was prompt, too. However, the experience could be enhanced by offering some heaters and blankets, as it can get quite chilly in the evenings.

The food was outstanding, but the service could use some enhancement; it deserves to be a 5-star experience.

The restaurant may be somewhat pricey, but it offers an elegant ambiance along with breathtaking coastal views.
