zipangu - Port Douglas

Great place for very fresh sushi, sashimi, noodles soups, etc. Limited menu but good quality. Very small restaurant as noted in other reviews. Either make a reservation for a table or be prepared to carry away.

Absolutely delicious sushi, prepared with the freshest ingredients. The gyoza, made from scratch, is the best I've had. Good selection of sake and beer. The owner is charming and attentive. Zipangu is THE place to go for sushi lovers in Port Douglas. Do not hesitate to walk the ten minutes down Davidson Street, away from the bustle of Macrossan. You will be richly rewarded.

This was an out of the way place, but the sushi was good. We had a variety of sushi and ramen. It was all good.

Really nice chicken karage but rather than getting the dinner box I should have got a bowl. The only difference is the dinner box has fruit in it which was a bit weird and some cold egg and mushroom yet it's quite a lot more expensive

Simple place but the food and service is great. Sushi/shashimi plate to share - fresh and delicious.
