Opera House Steak Seafood - Plainfield

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our first visit to this restaurant, and it was wonderful. We arrived early, right when they opened, which allowed us to enjoy the space almost entirely to ourselves. They gave us a great window seat with a view of downtown Plainfield. The food was of excellent quality, and the staff was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

What a fantastic place for a celebratory dinner for our engagement! The food was exquisite, and the service was equally outstanding. We decided to dine at the bar on a whim and had just as wonderful an experience as we would have in the dining room. Gigi, who was behind the bar, was a delight, and the drinks were superb as well. We will definitely be returning!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The service was fantastic. We had a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar because GiGi was so friendly and welcoming. The coconut Mahi Mahi was delicious, and the bread was even better. We also tried the loaded mashed potatoes, and they were simply to die for! The drinks were great as well!

The hubs and I do date night once a month and we always pick a new spot. This place is a gem! The food was uhhhhhmazing and our server, Rachel, was the bomb. She was so sweet and very attentive. She knew the menu very well. My hubs ordered the ribeye withgarlic shrimp, garlic creamed spinach, and bourbon mushrooms, and I ordered the scallops with parmesan risotto. Everything wastruly very good. They have a drinks list that includes wine, and the drinks here were some of the best we?ve ever had. The ratioof each ingredient was on point. Highly recommend you try the blueberry martini and Risesa (it?s a mule with strawberry vodka).Find this gem and try them. The ambiance is very good too!!
