Hickory Tavern - Pinehurst

The food is truly disappointing. Although the menu looks appealing, the kitchen struggles to prepare dishes correctly. The Reuben sandwich appears to be made with low-quality ham, and the lobster rolls are improperly made, lacking toasted and buttered bread. Some items from other orders are even undercooked and served cold. There is a clear absence of quality control. While it's a nice place to enjoy a drink—thanks to the excellent bartenders, servers, and hosts—I recommend eating somewhere else beforehand. It also seems that there isn’t a manager available to address food issues, even when the staff acknowledges the problem and brings it to attention.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday! We ordered the BBQ chicken nachos, and they were absolutely delicious—I’ll definitely be coming back for those. The drinks were fantastic as well; I highly recommend the lemon drops, Long Island iced tea, margaritas, and, of course, the wine. We were celebrating a birthday, and the manager even came out to sing on a chair for the occasion! It was such a fun time, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you all for a fantastic experience!

Fantastic wings! Be sure to order them charred! The bartenders are excellent as well. There’s a wide selection of beers!

I absolutely love Brittney, the bartender! She puts in a lot of hard work and does an amazing job.

This was my first time visiting Hickory Tavern I had the cheesesteak it was delicious and my server Leigh was great! Will definitely visit again soon with my family
