Bidrage med feedbackMy partner and I had lunch at this restaurant after visiting the Betsy Ross home. It is conveniently located two doors down, directly across the street. The restaurant is very clean with comfortable seating. We ordered the Philly steak sandwiches made with 7 ounces of fresh, extra lean top sirloin, served on a long Italian roll. The sandwiches come with a choice of cheese and toppings for an additional cost. Despite being big eaters, we struggled to finish the sandwich and would recommend sharing it. The pizza also looked delicious with plenty of toppings. The menu offers a variety of options such as stromboli, triple decker clubs, hoagies, deli sandwiches, burgers, paninis, Greek specialties, wings, quesadillas, Italian specialties, salads, and a breakfast menu. Our Philly steaks were priced at $10.50 and served hot and fresh. The service was excellent. This is a must-visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as they open at 11 o'clock. Delivery service is also available.
Great odour when going in the one worker member they from behind the counter with a warm hallo. eating is varied and not just their typical pizzeria style kitchen. there is literally something for every taste. during eating I could say that they have a strong customer base, as many who came at lunch were known to the person under the first name. the prices were appropriate for both quality and quantity of the serviced. I found the pizza to have a light and almost flocky but solid crust. the heroes and cheese steaks were perfectly cooked. beautiful small place for a quick bite and a warm hallo
The stromboli was fantastic. I am only giving three stars because the fountain drinks were not refillable; however, the staff did refill it for me once. I noticed that it was busy, but she allowed someone else to get a drink after I left to buy another one. It is important to note that the food here is excellent and I would not hesitate to return despite this experience. I would definitely come back for the quality of the food.
While traveling along the East Coast from Florida to Maine, we decided to grab a bite to eat on our way to Betsy Ross's house. Let me just say, this pizza was hands down the best I've ever had. The crust was unbelievably light and delicious, almost like pizza on grilled toast. It's hard to put into words, so you'll just have to try it for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
The food is amazing, Philly Cheese Steak so big an absolutely fantastic. Pizza also spectacular and the cheese burger got an A+ from my son. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are ever in the Historical District of Philadelphia
