Karma - Philadelphia

I attempted to visit this restaurant on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. According to Google Maps, it was supposed to be open, but it appeared to be out of business. Therefore, I can't provide any ratings for the food, service, or atmosphere.

Upon arriving, I was surprised by how dimly lit it was; it felt almost like sitting in a basement. When the server arrived, I asked to order some juice or soda, only to be told that they didn’t have any, even though it is advertised on their online menu. We ordered the paneer tikka, which came with just five small pieces and an overwhelming amount of onions—more than 15 pieces. For what we paid, it was definitely not worth it. What disappointed me the most was when we ordered our main courses. I requested a new plate, and the waiter bluntly said, “you can just use this one.” The appetizer plate was quite small and messy from the chaat and paneer I had already eaten. I struggled to fit the rice, naan, and paneer onto the tiny appetizer bowl they provided. I was shocked when the waiter informed me, "We don’t have more plates." As for the food, the portions for the appetizers were small, and the butter naan was paper-thin. The online promotions and advertisements are misleading. I am VERY disappointed.

The food was absolutely 10/10! We arrived 45 minutes before closing, just the two of us, and the host didn't seem very pleased to take our orders. That shouldn't be the case. Although he was nice by the end, it did leave a sour note. Nevertheless, the food was truly incredible!

I came to this place a few days ago. The atmosphere was super weird there was nobody at the restaurant but us And I ordered chicken 65 and butter chicken. The food quality was so bad . Waitress was itching his back and arm all the time nonstop. We couldn’t even finish the food.

The food here was very enjoyable. Some of the appetizers were bland though.
