Mike And Ed's B-q - Phenix City

The first place I always visit when driving in from South Carolina is Mike & Ed's in Phenix City. I drive 20 miles past my hotel in Columbus because I can't wait to indulge in their all-meat barbecue, with its delicious outside meat bark, hot BBQ sauce, and fresh Sunbeam bread. Their ice tea is great too. Carolina BBQ just can't compare to the amazing flavors of Georgia and Alabama BBQ, especially with their good mustard sauce. The only thing that would make the meal even better is if they served Golden Flake chips on the side. Also, their peanut brittle is excellent.

It's the best BBQ in town. You can smell their butts for miles. Keep up the good work Chase

I am a competitive BBQ smoker and I have to say that this restaurant is really good! The BBQ is juicy, the potato salad is delicious, and the coleslaw is great too! The inside of the restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is good. This is a great place.

My employer treated all of us with hams, and it was the most delicious ham I have ever tasted!! Excellent job.

My favorite place in town! Awesome service and best chef salads around!
