Called in for lunch today between jobs in the area couldn’t fault them the chips were absolutely cooked to perfection the fish was very tasty and the mushy peas some of the best I’ve had and all at a reasonable price and the staff were very friendly will definitely be calling in again and in the not too distant future

Good quality, not too much batter unlike some chip shops. Keep up the good work! The prices are ok and hopefully will not rise like everything else.

Used to be the best of a bad bunch in Whittlesey, but on last visit the cost of fish and chips used to be £14 now cost over £17! Just not worth it. Plus if your getting a chip butty you’d be better off getting a roll and a bag of chips as the customer in front of me complained about her butty with a small amount of chips in a burger bun box.

Always thought fish should not smell extra fishy when cooked had some wednesday evening 31st jan 2024. disgusting could not eat it. stank the house and car out HOW DO YOU SELL THIS RUBBISH. ffs someone open a good fish shop in this town

As someone who is gluten intolerant, finding a chip shop that caters for me can be difficult sometimes. However, Friar Tucks offer gluten free batter which tastes just like the real thing! Good sized portions and welcoming staff.
