Caffe Nero - Peterborough

I love and prefer this Coffee chain to others but, this morning having a Caffe Latte(Oat milk was unsatisfactory! Previous staff (Ladies were faster with taking orders from customers when the cue was more than three customers deep(there was five customers in the cue! . The long spoon I was given was 'bitty ' and dirty aswell as the cup my coffee was put into. This is very obvious due to the dish-washer not being cleaned properly and cutlery and crockery not being raised after going through the dishwasher. I know this because I 've worked in catering. It 's VERY OBVIOUS that the cup isn 't cleaned properly by just touching, the cup handle doesn 't feel like a clean glazed cup but a DRIED dry water film coating covering it. Not good enough at all Caffè Nero

The Coffee is excellent, staff good . Comfortable Toilets disgusting, please oh please get them clean

Caffe Nero is in the city centre of Peterborough and a really nice little coffee shop. I queued up to purchase my drink and there was a bit of a queue but you could see that staff were working hard to get people served so I did not mind too much unlike other coffee outlets (I won't name names). The store was clean and there was a member of staff regularly going around clearing away tables and cleaning them. There is seating downstairs and plenty more seating upstairs as well which is quite spacious. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and I was very impressed.

Sorry to say I was totally shocked how dirty this place was. Seemed not to have been cleaned in days and there were even cobwebs on the food/drink fridge. And don't get me started on the Toilets!

The staff are awesome at this Caffe Nero and one of the main reasons why customers return time after time including me; are always friendly and efficient; they also know how to make an awesome grown-up coffee.
