The New Yorker - Petaluma

The pizza is the real deal. Having indulged in many slices across New York and New Jersey, I can confidently say I can't wait to come back for more. The paprika is milder than I remember, but the overall taste is spot on. The calzones are made fresh to order, bringing back memories of my childhood on the East Coast. The pasta dishes maintain classic appeal while incorporating a fresh twist from Sonoma County in each bite. I absolutely love this place—even though they don’t accept credit cards! Mangia!

This pizza is so incredible that we always order it for special occasions and just for fun. Your pizza is the best food in the world—it's truly heavenly! We even find ourselves fighting over the last slice, and everyone should try it at least once. I read a review about the waitress, but I usually order for delivery, so I went in this time. I wouldn’t say she’s the best waitress, but she’s learning, and she did well. I may have exaggerated with my tip, which is unusual for us. However, I found it a bit annoying when she came over to clear my plate while I was still eating. Excuse me, but I was trying to enjoy my meal! I admit I was frustrated, but the pizza is absolutely worth it, and the owner is fantastic! You'll be glad you stopped by.

When we requested a box for our leftover pizza, the waitress rolled her eyes and sarcastically questioned whether we really needed a box for a few slices. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, she confronted us about not leaving a tip. When we tried to explain our reasons, instead of receiving our feedback, she shouted at us in front of other customers, telling us not to come back and using some really disrespectful language. The owner, who is apparently the waitress's mother, did nothing to address the situation. We have no intention of returning to this restaurant.
