Bangkok on William Thai Restaurant

Worst customer service.Food was so so hot and not edible at all. Have been to many restaurants before but worst service would be an understatement .

Been a weekly customer for around a year now. Over this time the service has become slower, the staff have declined and the food portions become smaller and smaller. I give 45 minutes notice before I want to pick up a takeaway order, even then it is not ready. Items are regularly left out and then you have to go back and pick them up. Today was the final insult. Wanted to increase the price of menu items valued at $8.00 and $3.00 item ($11 total) to $14. Won't be going back. Plenty of other places that offer far better.

I needed some curry to finish a nice day after watching a movie. It was one of few places open on the public holiday, so thought I would give it a go. Place was reasonably busy and only 2 staff doing the tables. I was given menu and water, but it took a long time to get service to order. Eventually I did, and I went with the green lamb curry, side of rice, and a glass of white wine. The curry was very delicious and the lamb was tender and cooked to perfection; very few times have I had lamb cooked so well in a curry! Overall food was excellent, but service was slow.

Can't get any better authentic Thai food on William street. Worthwhile paying a visit if you have sudden craving for Thai food. Must try dishes, pork green curry, good old Tom yam soup, kai lan stir fried with BBQ pork and papaya salad. Furthermore, pick any of their tasty desserts from their menu. Servicing staffs close to perfect. Atmosphere are good enough.

Great food! Great atmosphere ! And the decor is beautiful ! Everytime I come here I would order the Tom yum prawns soup, crying tiger, the fish with 3 sauce (which is my favorite) and soft shell crab salad! Portion size is great, and prices are definitely reasonable!!
