Crabs On The Beach

Crabs on the Beach is a fantastic spot located right by the ocean, offering both indoor and outdoor dining options. The food was excellent, and there’s even a small playground for children in the outdoor area. If you need anything for your day at the beach, there's a little gift shop on the side as well.

The best crabs I've ever had, I want to cry! But I don't think so. Wonderful staff, and if you sit outside, enjoy a BEAUTIFUL view and sounds of the golf. Can't wait to come back!

Regarding food quality, I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10. The crab legs were incredibly fresh and delicious! I ordered Dungeness crab, and the meat was indeed as sweet as advertised. However, we would deduct some points for the corn and potatoes, which were too mushy for our liking. But the crab was undoubtedly the star of the meal! My wife also enjoyed the Baja fish tacos. The chips were a bit saltier than we preferred, and watch out—the pepper on the Baja tacos had quite a kick! We also tried the key lime cake, which was the perfect blend of sweet and tart. For price, quantity, and quality, I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10. At $35.99 for 1.25 lbs of Dungeness crab legs, it felt a bit pricey but still reasonable compared to similar menus. The fish tacos were reasonably portioned but priced at $17.99, which seemed about 10-20% higher than we expected. However, the key lime cake exceeded our expectations! Our server generously gave us a hefty slice, and we happily enjoyed it for dinner and again for breakfast the next day. As for customer service, I’d rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. We were greeted warmly and well taken care of! Glen was our server, and he maintained a friendly and engaging conversation with us throughout the evening. He knew the menu inside and out, making us feel well taken care of during this challenging time. We truly appreciated his service—thank you, Glen! In terms of cleanliness, I would rate it a 5 out of 10. While the facility was well-maintained, we were surprised to see that not a single employee was wearing a mask. We’re unsure of local mandates, but there were about ten staff members without masks, which made us a bit uneasy during our meal. Thankfully, Glen wore his mask after his initial greeting. Overall, I would give this experience an 8 out of 10! Crabs on the Beach was a fun restaurant with satisfying food. We are somewhat relaxed concerning Covid-19 precautions, which is why we traveled from out of state to dine here. Out of the eleven restaurants we visited across several states last week, this was the only one without mask protocols. Interestingly, the two gift shops next door did have employees wearing masks. We respect Crabs on the Beach, but Glen was definitely our favorite reason for dining in!

My favorite place in Pensacola beach. The view is incredible, the food is delicious and the staff is great! all the crab dishes are excellent. I highly recommend it. I have half of their menu items and not one disappointed.

Our server *Hillary* made this the best outing of our entire trip. She had great insight into the menu, and her bubbly personality really shined. Really wonderful experience all around. A+ Mac and cheese and Sushi.
