Such lovely friendly staff. The food was excellent. Myself, my husband's 90 year old Grandmother, mother-in-law, husband and 3 year old son all had a wonderful time. The menu is so varied with something for everyone and the price was very reasonable. The place is decorated beautifully and the music was perfect. A great night out. Would highly recommend.

Two of tried this restaurant as it was highly recommend on Trip Advisor and our hotel receptionist said it was the best in town; they were both correct. The room has a contemporary style (with a spotlessly clean bathroom). The food served is tapas style with each portion enough for two people. The waiter speaks little English but enough to order. We had a drink of port and white wine to start then salad, clams, cheeses and the local sausages washed down with an excellent reserve red from the village.

Went to Penalva do Castelo for ten days and we ate there almost every day. I can't say enough about the food and service, everything was excellent. Loved all the food that I had there.

Great place! Beautiful decor, fabulous food and perfect service. We can't wait to return�
