Pemberton BEST WESTERN Hotel

We used to look forward to a trip to Pemberton and an old fashion roast dinner at the pub. Well sadly to say it isn't what it used to be. The vegetables must have been frozen for a long long time. They were tasteless and dull. The great gravy from the past has been replace with something horrific out of a can. Disappointing to say the least. However on a good note, their pork spare ribs were terrific. The portion of ribs was enough to share for two people and were very tasty. One irritating thing was a charge for inter net connection ($5 for 1 hour and $10 for 4 hours. They must be joking!!!!

Good feed, good prices and specials and a nice old fashioned hotel setting. Staff were ok and there was a decent drinks selection

We ate here two nights in a row while staying at the hotel. It was very handy to just walk on through from our rooms while raining outside. Staff were all very friendly and service was quite fast. Meals were delicious and huge!

What a surprise we called in out of curiosity and were blown away by the great staff welcoming locals. We stopped for a meal and the food was great qualty,with generouse servings and super fast service.. if you are in the area make sure you drop in its a great spot

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights.Chose the restaurant as very convenient.Met with scenes of chaos.On this night there was no " what happens in the kitchen stays in the kitchen" mainly because the kitchen ajso serves reception and take away food.So this night with daughter and 4 yr old grand daughter.We were met with a Babelonian scene,Kitchen staff screaming at each other,customers (druink mainly to fill in the time waiting for food-placed on the counter a sign 1 1/2 hr wait) fighting with staff and the whole place packed with young families trying to keep children under control,or not bothering anymore.The salad bar held a red cabbage salad and the other dishes were scraped empty.Poor staff several unexpected coach parties had arrived and a big football game was being screened,we were surprised and pleased with the food when it arrived,simple plain food but cooked well .Having this nearly thrown our way because of the harried staff and impossible task,they faced,we sat back and watched as people abused staff,drunk and disorderly few shouting at the TV,full to capacity, and yet surprisingly entertaining.the place was understaffed and rudecustomers didn't help,
